Walkers meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month, with an optional pub lunch at the end.
The walks are slightly longer and more demanding than for the Strollers.
Any volunteers to lead future walks are most welcome.
It can be done as a shared activity: just let Martin know.

LAST WALK:
November 2025 - Chipperfield
On a bright sunny day we met outside Blackwells Bistro and Bar by Chipperfield Common. Our walk took us down a narrow alleyway and out into a vast expanse of open fields and blue skies. Across Dunny Lane and up a hill. We eventually turned right and came out on Tower Hill. A right turn and then left by the Chipperfield Boot pub and we were heading along a track towards Kings Langley. Once again lovely views across open countryside. We crossed Chipperfield Road and continued through muddy fields by the west side of Kings Langley. Along a section of Langley Lodge Lane took us out into a field with cows ! This was unexpected as they weren't there a couple of days before. Along the edge of the field we decided to skip a short part of the walk that was very hilly and headed towards Bucks Hill. From there it was into the woods on Chipperfield Common where we wended our way towards lunch. Blackwells looked after us very well and we left feeling it had been a very nice day.
