Walkers meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month, with an optional pub lunch at the end.
The walks are slightly longer and more demanding than for the Strollers.
Any volunteers to lead future walks are most welcome.
It can be done as a shared activity: just let Martin know.

LAST WALK:
March 2026 - Asheridge.
Our walks in January and February didn’t happen due to inclement weather and a rush
of people being away on holiday and having grandchild duties.
Normal service was resumed in March when a group of 17 walkers met at the Blue Ball
pub in Asheridge, just outside Chesham.
It was a chilly March morning when we intrepid walkers, led by Irene, set forth on a rerun
of a walk we did back in September 2024, only in the clockwise rather than anti
clockwise direction. It being the Chilterns, it was quite hilly so rather than our usual 6+
mile walk we cut it down to about 5.3 miles ... which sadly did not omit the steep
sections! Lovely views, not too muddy and jolly conversation spurred us on towards our
delicious lunch at The Blue Ball in Asheridge.
