Strollers group meets on the 4th Thursday of the month
The strollers meet on the 4th Thursday of every month at 9-30am at the tennis courts on Baldwins Lane, from where we share lifts to a chosen pub or location from which our walk begins at around 10.00am . We usually have a walk of 4-5 miles followed by lunch in a pub.
The group is now full - if it were any larger, we wouldn't be able to find pubs able to accommodate us. If you are interested, please apply to join anyway, and you will be put on the waiting list.
Details of each month’s walk are sent out 2 weeks before the walk. If you are interested in joining us contact me (Sue Hillier) via the u3a website.

On June 22nd 2023, the strollers walked from the Red Lion Pub in Little Missenden. Approximately 4.5 miles circular walk. Leader Paul Tublin. A beautiful walk. Lunch at the Red Lion. Photo below.
In January 2023 we went up to London and walked over Primrose Hill to the Regents Canal and onto Little Venice.
The February walk was around Sarratt and in March we walked from the Full Moon pub through Cholesbury Common to Hawridge Common.
April was another walk around Sarratt (4 miles) - starting and ending at the Cart and Horses Pub (Commonwood).
May was a beautiful walk (5 miles) at Aldenham. Followed by lunch at The Three Compasses. Photo below May 2023

In January 2022, we had a walk in London to avoid the mud to look at the various blue and brown plaques. Usually the walks are out in the countryside. In May we usually search out a bluebell walk.
