Our group meets on the first Friday of the month at 2.30 at a members home.
The group was formed in August 2025.
At the first meeting (which only 4 members were able to attend) Glorious, a comedy by Peter Quilter, was read. Florence Foster Jenkins attempting to become an operatic diva, although having one of the worst singing voices. There’s a film of the play with Meryl Streep. The meeting was great fun.
The second meeting will tackle Murder in Play by Simon Brett on 7th September.
