Walking tours will be organised each month led by an experienced guide
Not too long or difficult to get about.
Because people have a lot of commitments those interested are asked to identify dates when they might be available
to try to make sure everyone can come as often as possible.
Rather than venture into London just yet, we plan a series of guided walks in places you may know quite well, but which have a history you probably don't know.
We encourage you to minimise the use of public transport and car-sharing where practical and to still take sensible precautions in order to reduce the risks of catching and transmitting Covid 19.

Meet at the Star Yard car park 11 a.m. £6 per head
Using public transport take the Met. line train from Croxley or Rickmansworth
Mon Sep 20th Guided walk around Berkhampstead led by Colin Oakes
For those wishing to go by public transport you can catch the 10.25 train from Watford Junction.
Meet in the pay-and-display car park next to the Waitrose car park at 11 a.m.
Waitrose probably have a time limit on parking.
Fee £6 paid direct to Colin.
Fri Oct 8th Guided walk around Wendover led by Colin Oakes
For those wishing to go by public transport you can catch the 10.19 Chiltern Railways train from Rickmansworth station.
Wendover station car park charges £8 for all day but you may be able to find street parking.
Meet at 11 a.m. outside Wendover station.
Fee £6 paid direct to Colin.
