Get those Christmas jumpers at the ready!
Quiz Evening 26th September.
What a fun evening!. With 10 tables the Hall was buzzing. Members had brought an array of delicious food and drink. The table top quiz sheets - Number Association and Places Around the World concentrated the minds of participants from the word go.
Chris Hankinson compered the evening with great finesse along with keeping an impeccable and our most advanced electronic score board to date. Martin Wright our inimitable very own quiz master ensured the smooth running of the 6 rounds.
With an air of friendly competitiveness the quiz kicked off to a prompt start at 6pm.
The score board conveys the creativeness of the groups in choosing team names and the closeness of the scores. We were delighted to present prizes to the top three Teams and lemons to Team Super Nans. A fourth prize went to the Secret Seven who excelled at the Table Top Quiz.
